1. To
provide an interactive platform for exchange of information between the
governments, host institutions, faculties, trainers and trainees alike to
meet the needs of education and training in the health and health-related
areas, and accordingly set a format
for information exchange.
2. To
make data available which will directly serve to set standards and criteria
in various specialties and training in medical, public and allied health
areas.
3. To serve as an user-friendly on
line compendium or directory of training
institutions, programmes, and facilities ready access to information and
decision-making or in framing the criteria for selection of candidates,
identification of appropriate specialized areas and institutes.
4. To
facilitate faculty exchange and forge increasing partnerships between
experts and institutions cross-cutting the other considerations in the true
spirit of Technical
Cooperation Among Countries (TCAC) of the SEAR.
