States must ensure that information is available and accessible to everyone. Actively seek information on your health related rights from international and national legal documents.

Speak Up…Stop Discrimination.  Human rights defenders acting against discrimination, were recognized on Human Rights Day 2010. Overt or implicit discrimination often lies at the root of poor health status. Vulnerability to ill health can be reduced through realization of human rights, so speak out against abuse and violations including discrimination, exclusion, oppression and violence.
