Candidates
for expert’s roster
The World Health Organization Regional Office for South
East Asia, New Delhi,
invites applications from qualified professionals with expertise in the areas
below for review and inclusion in its roster of experts for the Immunization
and Vaccine Development (IVD) program. The goal of the program is to protect
the people of South-East Asia Region from vaccine-preventable diseases.
Areas of expertise include public health, epidemiology,
disease control, EPI program management, laboratory networks, VPD
surveillance, communications, health financing, cold chain and logistics,
adverse events following immunization (AEFI), vaccine research, vaccines
regulation, and training, etc.
Candidates with the requisite skill and experience will
be included in the roster and
considered for temporary assignments ranging from one to twenty four months
either at the WHO Regional office in New Delhi or in any one of the following
country offices: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea,
India, Indonesia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand and
Timor-Leste.
